Personal Training with Fit to the Core
I am an experienced personal trainer offering one-on-one, group, and online training sessions.
My goal is to assist clients in achieving their exercise objectives and experiencing the transformations in physical and mental well-being that result from feeling strong and fit.
Ultimately, feeling good in your own body and being proud of what it can achieve through dedicated training cultivates a sense of empowerment that positively impacts all areas of life.
I am a level 3 qualified in Pilates and Pre and Post Natal training and chair-based exercise.
I also have exercise rehabilitation expertise through my level 5 Soft Tissue Therapy qualification.
I am able to use these skills and experience to enhance my sessions and tailor personalised fitness programs to meet individual’s unique needs and aspirations. My approach combines motivating, supportive coaching with evidence-based techniques to ensure lasting results.
My personal focus and passion in exercise is running. Running is the sport that transformed my life and led me to regularly enter and train for events.
I provide support and expertise for beginning runners, those training for events, or individuals aiming to enhance their performance.
My fitness journey
I found fitness as a way of life in my thirties.
For me running was the hook that got me into exercise.
At the time I was working as a teacher in an International school in Dubai, working long hours in the week and smoking and drinking and living the party lifestyle.
I did very little exercise, had a poor diet and was a little overweight.
More to the point I did not feel good or very healthy and knew something had to change.
I had always enjoyed walking and the occasional run and was interested in getting better at it.
Self-doubt always told me ‘I wasn’t a runner’ and people would laugh at me out running. I decided to overcome these fears and start training for a 5km Ramadan run to spur me on. I remember my nerves before starting the race, wondering if I’d make it. When I completed the event, I felt so elated. It was the most positive, uplifting thing I had done for myself in a while.
That feeling gave me the running bug and has driven me to complete over 20 half marathons and 5 marathons and currently training for an ultra as my next challenge
Finding a love for running led me to give up smoking and begin making healthier lifestyle choices.
I began strength training and eating a better diet to support my running. Looking after myself and purposely making time for exercise became a priority.

I use PT Space Gym located at Sowton Industrial Estate. This facility offers a spacious and welcoming environment tailored exclusively for Personal Trainers, featuring designated pods and specialised equipment.
It ensures that each trainer has their own dedicated space and high-quality resources.
Free parking is included at the site.
